Beginners

First time surfing? We’ll cover ocean safety, paddling, pop-up technique, and your first rides in beginner-friendly waves.

Improvers

Already stood up before? We’ll focus on timing, consistency, trimming, and building confidence on unbroken waves.

Intermediates

If you can catch waves on your own, we’ll refine positioning, wave selection, and technique—so you surf smarter in real conditions.

A typical surf day

We keep it easy and flexible—because the ocean decides the schedule.

  1. Quick check-in + conditions call (wind, swell, tides)

  2. We pick the best spot for your level (south or west coast)

  3. Warm-up + beach briefing (safety, technique focus for the day)

  4. Water time + coaching (practice, feedback, repeat)

  5. Back to camp to relax—pool time, a walk to the beach, or explore Luz/Lagos

After day one, you’ll usually have:

  • A safer, more confident pop-up

  • Better paddling efficiency

  • A clearer idea of where to sit and when to go

  • Less guesswork—and more waves
